Torque and Brake Speed Adjustment
Our latest digital motor control technology, developed from Blu-ray disc products, lets you adjust the torque and brake speed separately in four steps for precise control.

Pitch Control Function
Fine-tune your rotation speed within ±8% / ±16% with our digital pitch control function. It uses digital control from slider position detection to motor rotation, eliminating unnecessary DA conversion. This ensures accurate and stable pitch adjustments for improved tracking performance.

Reverse Play Function
Explore new creative possibilities with the reverse play function, making its debut in the SL-1200 Series. You can switch between 33.3 rpm, 45 rpm, and even 78 rpm speeds.

Coreless Direct Drive Motor for Stable Rotation
The direct drive system uses a slow-turning motor to directly drive the platter, offering high performance, accuracy, and powerful torque without needing part replacements. While traditional direct drive systems had issues with rotation irregularity (cogging), the SL-1200Mk7 features a new coreless direct drive motor that eliminates this problem. The motor's improved magnetic force and optimized gap between the stator and rotor ensure smooth rotation and high torque, matching the SL-1200Mk5. This results in accurate and faithful sound reproduction from your records.

High Sensitivity Tonearm for Reliable Performance
The tonearm, a favourite in the DJ scene for years, features the trusted static-balance universal S-shape design. With high-precision bearings, it offers better initial-motion sensitivity than the SL-1200Mk6. This means it accurately tracks the record grooves, ensuring excellent performance and minimal stylus jumping, even during intense scratching sessions.

High-rigidity Cabinet and High-damping Insulator
Our advanced chassis design, inspired by high-end turntables, reduces external vibrations for pristine audio quality. The aluminium die-cast chassis, combined with ABS and glass fibre, creates a robust two-layer construction that enhances vibration-damping.
The spring and rubber insulator optimizes frequency characteristics, ensuring high sound quality and excellent howling resistance. It blocks external vibrations even at high sound levels, delivering clear, uninterrupted audio in any environment.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
