Pre-Owned Naim Hi-Fi Equipment

(47 products)

Naim Audio has been making amplifiers in Salisbury since 1973, building one of the most loyal communities in British hi-fi. The Naim ecosystem is coherent by design: each component is engineered to work with others in the range, and the upgrade path from entry-level NAIT through to the reference 500 series is well-worn and well-documented. Pre-owned Naim represents some of the best value the used market offers. Build quality is genuinely exceptional, Naim components are routinely serviced and enjoyed for twenty or thirty years, which means a well-maintained NAIT XS3, Supernait 3, or Uniti Nova at four or five years old is a mature, fully run-in product rather than a compromise. The Naim service network is active, parts are available long-term, and the brand's used market is one of the most liquid and well-priced in hi-fi.

About Naim

Naim was founded in Salisbury in 1973 by Julian Vereker, who set out to build amplifiers that put musical timing and rhythm above everything else. That thinking still runs through the whole range today. The NAIT series, from the original NAIT to the current NAIT XS3, remains one of the most recognisable amplifier lines in British hi-fi. The Supernait takes things further, and the Uniti range of streaming amplifiers, covering the Atom, Star and Nova, brought the same musical character into a single box. The Statement
and 500 series separates are where Naim's reference engineering sits. Naim is now part of the Focal-Naim group.

Why Buy Used Naim?

Naim makes things to last for decades rather than product cycles. A used NAIT XS3 or Supernait 3 that has been properly looked after is a mature, well run-in product. Many owners find Naim equipment sounds more open and at ease after a few years of use than it did straight out of the box. The UK service network means it can be maintained and repaired for the long term. Because the used Naim market is so active and well understood, buying with real confidence is easier here than with most other brands.
