Pre-Owned Bowers and Wilkins Speakers

(9 products)

Bowers and Wilkins has been making loudspeakers in Worthing since 1966 and is probably the most widely recognised British speaker brand in the world. The range spans from the accessible 600 series through the 700 series into the 800 series, which has been used as a studio reference by Abbey Road and countless other professional facilities. The technology developed for the top of the range filters down over time, which means even older or more affordable B&W designs reflect genuine engineering investment. Pre-owned B&W is one of the most active parts of the used hi-fi market. The speakers are well made, widely understood and available at every budget. For anyone looking for a known, trusted loudspeaker with years of real-world evidence behind it, used B&W is an obvious starting point.

About B&W

Bowers and Wilkins was founded in Worthing, West Sussex in 1966 by John Bowers. The brand has spent nearly sixty years developing loudspeaker technology, including the iconic Nautilus design and the Kevlar mid-range cone that became standard across the range. The 800 Diamond series has been installed at Abbey Road Studios as a primary reference. The 600 and 700 series bring B&W engineering to more accessible price points. B&W also produces the Formation wireless range and the Px headphone series. The company is now part of Sound United.

Why Buy Used B&W?

B&W produces some of the most active pre-owned speakers on the market. The range is wide enough that there is a used B&W speaker at almost every budget, the products are well made and long-lasting, and the brand recognition makes them straightforward to buy and sell. The older Matrix and Nautilus designs in particular can offer genuinely high-end performance at prices that reflect their age rather than their ability.
