Dolby B-C NR
The Dolby C noise reduction system effectively minimizes tape hiss while enabling extended compatibility with prerecorded tapes. Dolby B NR assures the broadest compatibility with both prerecorded cassettes and other cassette decks.
Direct Mode Switching
A light touch on the control keys (rec, play, etc.) activates a motor assisted switching mechanism which provides positive operation. Direct mode switching means that you can switch directly from the fast-forward (or rewind) mode to the play mode without having to press the stop key.
One Touch Recording
There is no necessity of pressing the rec and play keys together to initiate recording. On these decks you can begin recording more quickly and with greater convenience. Simply press the rec key alone.
Timer Record/Playback Capability
Enjoy the convenience of unattended off-the-air recording by connecting the cassette deck to an optional audio timer unit and your tuner. Recording begins automatically at your preset time. You can also use this setup to wake you with your favourite music.
2-Color LED Peak Level Meters
Red LEDs illuminate to confirm signal levels exceeding 0 dB. Peak level indication enables close monitoring of transient peaks which might be ignored on meters designed to indicate only the average signal level. Thanks to these features you can set your recording level more easily and accurately.
Metal Compatible MX Head
Technics developed the MX head to let you obtain more of the benefits of new recording tape technology such as metal particle formulations. Therefore, the MX head is designed to support high frequency response and wide dynamic range while contributing to reduced noise and distortion. With the MX head all your tape recordings sound better, whether you use metal, CrO2 or normal tape types.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
