The Spendor ‘S’ series loudspeakers feature many innovations. Linear flow port technology for non-turbulent low frequency airflow and predictable bass response, Spendor ‘e’ drive units with stiff, light internally damped ep38 polymer cones for ultralow colouration, and dynamically damped cabinets which reduce energy re-radiation to inaudible levels. Spendor’s first loudspeaker, the BC1 broadcast monitor, set entirely new standards for sound accuracy, and technical performance. It had a revolutionary 8inch driver with a plastic cone and natural rubber surround. Our new Spendor S8e is based entirely on modern technology but like the BC1 it also has an 8inch (210mm) plastic coned bass-midrange driver with an exceptionally smooth extended response. The large cone radiating area and freedom from resonance and breakup (thanks to our new ep38 polymer cone and high damping synthetic rubber surround) delivers a brilliantly detailed and vibrant sound. 3D linear flow reflex loading gives the bass real authority and depth, even when the cabinet is located close to a wall. Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Don't worry, you'll always see the final shipping charge displayed before you reach the payment step (on the checkout page).

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
