Sony ST-80F Tuner

A highly sensitive and compact FM stereo / FM-AM Tuner. Features an FET front end and a solid state IF filter. In a compact walnut cabinet with a large circular tuning dial.
FM Tuner Section
In the front-end section a field-effect transistor improves sensitivity, noise figure and overload capacity. A newly-developed FM local oscillator provides drift-free operation, but automatic frequency control is provided for easy tuning.
Four IF stages, using four ceramic filters, ensure high selectivity, sharp skirt response, and essentially flat response within the selected channel's frequency range. This results in excellent adjacent-channel separation on FM broadcast.
AM Tuner Section
Two ceramic filters in the AM tuner provide good selectivity and adjacent-channel rejection. In addition, an FET is used in the mixer circuit to improve the tuner's performance for distortionless reception.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
