The distinctive aluminium/gun metal rings frame the speakers, completely decoupled from the cabinet, and the leather top, hand-sewn and soft to the touch, is a call to the Olympica Collection.
While remaining faithful to our roots, the Sonetto line is accompanied by a desire for renewal and constant evolution in the use of materials, in the study of design and electroacoustic solutions.
Made of eight elements with a clean and elegant design, Sonus faber Sonetto is a versatile solution for any environment. The collection integrates the best electroacoustic solutions developed for the Reference, Homage Tradition and Olympica collections; these trademarks are implemented in a collection that aims to be within the reach of many, for the first time in our history.
The use of natural materials, the techniques derived from the violin making tradition and the final tuning by ear that completes the electroacoustic development, remain the fundamental prerequisite for guaranteeing the achievement of natural sound reproduction and an unforgettable listening experience.
All the transducers in the Sonetto collection are designed entirely from scratch and use the die-cast aluminium basket of Sonus faber origin.
The Voice of Sonus faber is the iconic speaker configuration for the mid and high frequencies reproduction that characterizes the typical and unmistakable sound of our speakers.
In the Sonetto collection it’s obtained thanks to the 29 mm silk dome tweeter equipped with DAD™ technology (Damped Apex Dome) and the midrange (or mid-woofer in the case of bookshelf models) featuring our proprietary natural fibre and paper blend air-dried diaphragm.
To allow an ultra-fast tight and yet deep bass performance, the R&D team developed a special aluminium alloy diaphragm for all the bass woofers.
This patented technology has been introduced in each cross-over design of the collection for the best dynamic range and highly defined musical detail.
The “Made in Italy” is a guarantee of a careful production process that is reflected in exceptional electro-acoustic performance and unparalleled attention to detail.
Sonetto II is the largest bookshelf of the line, with an energetic timber that fills the atmosphere with a warm and involving voice that brings the listener into a world of Italian tradition. Thanks to its electro-acoustic endowment and its powerful 165 mm mid-woofer, Sonetto II creates an intense, unprecedented emotional impact and surprisingly powerful bass reproduction.

Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
