Sansui SE88 Graphic Equalizer - Black

Here we have a Graphic Equaliser from Sansui. Although much maligned by audiophiles there are those who swear by them and this vintage SE88 unit was one of the more popular models. This model does have several faults, is in poor cosmetic condition and therefore is being sold as seen for spares or repairs only - no returns please.

The sound you hear is much influenced by the acoustic character of your room. Drapes and carpets can deaden sound making it dull and lifeless. Bare floors, glass panes and walls act to bounce sound, making music shrill or muddled. The only way to counteract these effects is to add a graphic equalizer.
Unlike common tone controls, a graphic equalizer lets you adjust a narrow frequency range without affecting other ranges. So it's easy to isolate problem frequencies and equalize them one by one to get a balanced, flat frequency response.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
