Rotel were one of the first companies to employ the bit-stream PDM conversion system and the resulting RCD865 became one of the top selling CD Players in the UK with much critical acclaim.
The new RCD965BX seeks to move forward the very high musical performance standards previously established with significantly greater precision and refinement. This new model features a totally revised circuit board layout, improved components, larger power supply and the latest generation chip set, all of which contribute to a level of musical involvement hitherto not available from compact discs.
The top-of-the-line Rotel CD player takes digital technology to a higher level. Incorporating a true 'one-bit' D/A convertor with 256 times oversampling, the RCD965BX samples 11 million times a second. Any undesirable signals created by the sampling process fall well above the audible range so that a high quality digital filter can convert the signal to an analogue output without the phase shift and distortion of conventional analogue filtering.
The RCD965BX epitomizes intelligent engineering and seductive sound. Philips bitstream technology, coupled with Rotel's meticulous attention to power supply design, component selection, and circuit layout, provide unsurpassed performance in a single-chassis player.
The physics are certainly impressive, but just how well does this system perform? Hi Fi Choice magazine praised the RCD965BX "a shrewdly balanced player, equipped with a sensible range of facilities, solidly built and engineered to produce the sort of sound that many high-end products wouldn't have a hope of achieving. Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
