Amplifier Power As It Should Be
The 300-watt music output per channel ensures effective distortion-free playback. Even in very large rooms.
The B251 has the dynamics of a PCM device. It is powered by a switched power supply with a high degree of efficiency. Even under the most extreme conditions, this high-frequency transformer ensures a hum-free transmission.

Sensitivity Of The Inputs
One of the most beautiful features is the finely differentiated tuning of the seven sound sources. The selected sensitivities can be stored individually: when switching from one sound source to the other, there are no volume gradients.
In addition to inputs for tuners and two tape recorders, there is a phono input with selectable input capacity. In addition, a retrofittable moving-coil or moving magnet input, an auxiliary input (AUX), an input for the compact disc device. All inputs are characterized by excellent crosstalk. Two separate signal paths allow the recording of any sound source on tape while listening to another over loudspeakers.

The Other Advantages
A new feature of the REVOX amplifier is the exclusive quiescent current control. Takeover distortions are avoided while at the same time a very fast rise time (2 μs) is achieved. This is of crucial importance, especially with regard to the digital compact disc.
A special feature is the external voltage ratio of 80 dB, which is already achieved at 50 mW output power; which, by the way, underlines the PCM suitability. Two speaker groups as well as the headphones can be operated at different volumes. Exerts taken from translated Revox Brochure

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
