Largest in the range our example of the T-9 is in very good condition with a little marking on the top, and comes in original factory packaging along with grille, manual, mains cable, sub cable plus our standard three month warranty. REL Say….
REL are pleased to announce release of their new Serie T range of sub-bass systems. Serie T feature design and execution that borrow heavily from Serie R released earlier this year, including class-leading industrial design, 11 coat hand-rubbed lacquer (piano black and piano white), extensive use of billet aluminium and a general appearance and construction that would suggest prices much more costly than their retails.
While many are already familiar with T-5, which was released last October and has enjoyed enormous sales success already with reviews lining up, the all-new T-7 and T-9 are both huge steps up the performance envelope. We asked REL's head designer, John Hunter, to provide commentary:
"T-7 and T-9 feature true Instrument-Grade Bracing™, borrowed from the musical instrument industry. This mechanical bracing is credited with producing a suddenness, impact and dynamics not commonly associated with products in this category. Energy distribution is further aided by heavyweight solid, aluminium feet that allow this newfound speed and "slam" to more efficiently couple into the room. A quick comparison of the old T-1 and the new Serie T-9 show that where the older model was all in by 28 Hz, the new T-9 still has significant output at 24 Hz, a figure that compares well with the much dearer B-2," noted Hunter, "but at a fraction of the price."
Size matters, or to be precise, the driven cone surface area matters. T-9 with a 10" active and 10" passive ABR produce the equivalent of a 300 watt amplifier coupled to a 15" cone. Whilst the T-7 produces the equal of a 200 watt high-current device driving a larger-than-13'' cone. No question these new RELs sound very powerful.
All T-7 and T-9 (T-5 as well) also contain REL’s unique REL D™ circuit that allows for direct connection of most Class D main amps to these REL's high-level inputs. Quietly introduced late in the old T series run to obtain data, REL D™ decouples the REL's input and filter circuits thereby providing a safe, secure and seamless connection to the vast majority of Class D amps extant.
Every aspect of these new REL’s received a going over expanded Hunter, the filter circuits are sharpened up and are faster and more natural than ever with particular attention being given the limiting circuits. which are now referred to as Limitless™ circuits. These are borrowed directly from Serie R but calibrated to the needs of each model of Serie T and
produce gentle, natural, progressive limiting such that the ear never hears the limiters kick in. The result is that they feel virtually limitless in their power delivery, providing a torrent of power from the high-current Class A/B amplifiers.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
