Rega are an iconic name when it comes to turntables, yes nowadays this British company builds superb electronic equipment such as CD players, Amplifiers, Phono Stages, and the like, but it’s turntables that started it all. And what better place to start your vinyl journey than the RP1. This turntable is in good overall condition, although the lid is heavily marked - please refer to photographs. The lid can be replaced at reasonable cost if required. It comes professionally packaged and is fitted with a Carbon moving magnet cartridge. As usual you also get our normal three month warranty, but please note this does not cover the cartridge.

The Rega RP1 turntable is designed and engineered to achieve outstanding performance way beyond the expectations of a product at this price point. Omitting all the usual gimmicks allows us to concentrate the manufacturing costs on the high-quality parts necessary to reproduce records accurately.
Using a manual speed change rather than an automatic mechanism eliminates speed inconsistencies and reduces wear of the drive belt. The money we save is spent across the design, including a new hand assembled RB101 Tonearm, precision main bearing, phenolic resin platter and a high-quality low vibration motor which would normally be used on a turntable costing two or three times the amount.
The minimalist design of the Rega RP1 and the use of extremely high-quality components ensure that this turntable will last for many years. The RP1 was the first in a new generation of Rega ‘RP’ turntables, all offering far greater performance than their predecessors.
The only thing entry level about the RP1 is the price.

Shipping Rates

We calculate your shipping rate based on the total weight of your items and your delivery address. Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Don't worry, you'll always see the final shipping charge displayed before you reach the payment step (on the checkout page).

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
