Rega Planar 3 Turntable / Elys 2 Cartridge

The Rega Planar 3 is an absolute classic turntable with belt-drive and AC synchronous motor. Its features also include calibrated, spring-applied tracking force and magnetic bias compensation. Introduced in 1976, the original Planar 3 models came with the Acos derived R200 tonearm, but from 1983 the improved RB300 tonearm was fitted as standard. It wasn’t until 2000 and the arrival of the P3 that the design was changed, but you would be hard pressed to see the differences. Even the latest version introduced in 2016 still looks very similar to the classic Planar 3 we have here. It is in good condition noting the typical marking and a small rear chip to the lid, and comes in original packaging, with “manual” and as always, our classic three month warranty. It is supplied with a Rega Elys 2 cartridge, but as we have no knowledge on age or use of this item it is not covered by our warranty.

Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
