Quad FM3 Tuner is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The FM3 is a classic analogue FM-only radio tuner manufactured by Quad in Huntingdon, England, between roughly 1971 and 1981. It holds a special place in audio history as Quad's first solid-state tuner, successfully replacing the older valve-based FM2 model. The unit was specifically engineered to visually and technically pair with the iconic Quad 33 pre-amplifier and Quad 303 power amplifier. To maintain its minimalist aesthetic, it lacks a dedicated power switch. Instead, it relies on a rear mains connection to the Quad 33 preamp, which powers the tuner on and off. The FM3 is in fairly good condition, but does show a few age related marks (see pictures 8 ,9 +10), there is no original packaging, but will be securely packed before leaving us, it comes with our standard warranty. We also have the Quad 33 pre-amplifier for sale on the 2ndhandhifi website.
