Designed to match and work with its own Artera series products as well as pre-amps from other manufacturers our example comes in good condition with just a couple of blemishes along the corner edges – please refer to the photographs. It will be professionally packaged, with manual, mains cable and our standard three month warranty.

Quad gave its team of designers and engineers a specific brief for Artera: combine the qualities that have made Quad Solus of Britain’s most revered hi-fi marques for many decades with fresh industrial design and the very latest high performance audio technologies.
Artera’s crisp, clean aesthetic both evokes Quad’s past and looks forward to the future, with a textured aluminium front panel, thick glass top and CNC-routed heat sinks on either side. The housing provides a rugged structure that resists interference from external vibrations, while the facia of each player incorporates an intuitive touch-sensitive control, contributing greatly to its sleek design.
The Artera’s complete range includes 4 models: Artera Stereo (power amplifier), Artera Play (CD Player / DAC / Preamp), Artera Play+ (Bluetooth aptX / CD Player / DAC / Preamp) and Artera Solus (Bluetooth aptX / CD Player / DAC / Preamp / Integrated Amplifier).
The Artera Stereo’s power output is conservatively rated at 140W per channel into eight ohms and 250W into four ohms, ensuring any speakers – including Quad’s classic ESL electrostatic designs – can be driven with ease, and has ample power for driving first-class loudspeakers, unfaltering even under high dynamic and transient conditions thanks to the patented Current Dumping technology. Connectivity options comprise single-ended RCA and the newly developed balanced XLR inputs, a 12V trigger input and high-quality speaker binding posts. Simple, solid and classy on the outside and devilishly clever within, the Artera Stereo maintains Quad’s traditional place at the forefront of modern amplifier design.

Shipping Rates

We calculate your shipping rate based on the total weight of your items and your delivery address. Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Don't worry, you'll always see the final shipping charge displayed before you reach the payment step (on the checkout page).

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
