Partington Dreadnought Ultima Speaker Stands - Black Mirror

Partington Ultima are the flagship speaker stands in the range, designed for mid to large size bookshelf speakers. You can use these as stands for larger bookshelf speakers in a stereo hi-fi system or to support larger speakers in a 5.1 channel or 7.1 channel home cinema system.
Ultima is built to the highest standard and have even been used in recording studios worldwide at the BBC and elsewhere by sound engineers who want to get the best sound from larger speakers.
The unique all welded and laser cut design has a specially formed centre column, heavy gauge folded top and base plates in a triangular design that offers exceptional rigidity and will get the best performance from your speakers at home.
In contrast to smaller speaker stands or those without such a simple yet well thought out design, Ultima will get the best sound from your speakers. The result is controlled and deep bass; unsurpassed definition, dynamics and stereo imaging; greater instrumental and vocal separation, wide sound staging and above all, a smooth warm sound throughout the audible spectrum.
Ultima is designed for larger bookshelf speakers. We've used them with excellent results with larger models from B&W, Monitor Audio, ATC (e.g. SCM19), KEF (e.g. R300 or Reference 1), Focal (e.g. Electra 1008, Sopra No1), ProAc (e.g. D2) and many more. These are only examples though - if you have similarly large bookshelf speakers these should match with them very well.

Shipping Rates

We calculate your shipping rate based on the total weight of your items and your delivery address. Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Don't worry, you'll always see the final shipping charge displayed before you reach the payment step (on the checkout page).

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
