Here we have an example of British company Naim’s most recent power supply. Naim have always maintained that power supplies are a very important part in the audio chain, and the “New Classic” NPX 300 is the latest in a long line of power supply upgrade units. Our example comes in very good condition noting a small scratch on the front left corner – please refer to photographs. It is supplied in original factory packaging, along with manual, mains cable, Burndy cable, and our standard three month warranty.

It works by deactivating the internal power supply, reducing noise, and improving power and performance. You can even connect multiple NPX 300 power supplies to enhance your audio experience further. Using this power supply allows the preamplifier to focus solely on controlling the signal, resulting in a superior quality of sound.

The NPX 300 power supply is a flexible and silent upgrade for multiple Naim products. It works with the 300 and 200 Series products, NDX2, and the NAC-N 272 with specific cables.
Our founder, Julian Vereker, was a visionary who recognised the significant advantages of using aluminium as a material for wrapping Naim's electronic components. He understood that audio devices are highly susceptible to the negative effects of magnetic fields, unstable temperatures, and vibrations that can impair their performance. While other manufacturers were using thin sheets of steel, Naim used thick aluminium plates to wrap its components, ensuring that they were well-protected and able to deliver their full potential.

Using two internal power supplies; one is a high quality audiophile linear type, based on a large toroidal transformer. The other is a highly efficient SMPSU for 0.5W power consumption in standby during standby mode.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
