The Naim NAP 250 New Classic is the latest evolution of one of British hi-fi's most enduring power amplifiers, redesigned from the ground up for the modern Naim ecosystem. Launched in 2023, it retains the musical authority and rhythmic drive the NAP 250 name has always stood for, while introducing a thoroughly updated circuit topology, a new power supply architecture, and a refined aluminium fascia that aligns it with Naim's current New Classic range.
Delivering 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, the New Classic NAP 250 uses a fully discrete, dual-mono design with a dedicated toroidal transformer per channel, offering a blacker background and greater dynamic headroom than its predecessors. Balanced XLR inputs are now standard, making it a natural partner for sources and preamplifiers such as the NSC 222 or NAC 332. The result is an amplifier that is equally at home in a dedicated two-channel system as it is at the heart of a wider Naim New Classic stack.
The chassis is finished in Naim's signature brushed aluminium with a clean, uncluttered front panel, a clear departure from the older olive and classic black aesthetics.

Carriers
