Naim Nait 3 Integrated Amplifier (1996)

Our integrated amplifier brings Naim Audio quality to people buying their first serious hi-fi system. The large peak current capacity ensures there are no restrictions on the type of loudspeaker that may be used.
Designing a very high quality integrated amplifier where both the pre and power amplifier stages are housed in one case has taken a great deal of design cunning. Now in its third series, the world famous Nait remains our entry level amplifier. It is designed to offer Naim Audio sound quality to those buying their first serious hi-fi system. Nait 3 offers significant and worthwhile improvements, both electronically and musically, over its illustrious predecessors.
The new slimline case and electronic switching are obvious external clues, but internally we have taken advantage of the larger chassis layout to enhance its capabilities. It now boasts more power and can drive an even wider range of loudspeakers with ease. Input one can be fitted with specific boards to handle various cartridge types, as opposed to the more usually found moving magnet and moving coil switching. or it can be maintained as a fifth high level input.
To improve performance and enhance versatility still further the preamplifier section can be isolated and used separately with a more powerful amplifier such as the 140 or 180 and can then be further improved by the addition of a separate power supply. In common with all Naim equipment, the Nait requires source components of excellent quality and considered installation of the whole system to be at its most musically exciting and rewarding.

Shipping Rates

Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
