A nice example of the FlatCap XS power supply from British Hi-Fi specialists Naim Audio. The FlatCap was originally launched in 1994, as Naim were an early advocate for separating delicate pre-amplifier circuitry and the potentially “noisy” power supplies, a practice that has become more popular nowadays with other manufacturers. The unit dates from 2011, is in very good condition with just a slight light mark on the logo – please see photographs. It comes in original factory packaging with manual, mains cable, SNAIC cable and our usual three month warranty. Naim’s entry-level power supply was designed to work with a number of Naim components so please check with us prior to purchase to confirm compatibility.

Designed to complement our XS range, the FlatCap XS is a dual-rail, dual-output power supply that powers not just one, but two Naim Audio components if required. For example, an XS Series owner could add a FlatCap XS to enhance the performance of both a CD5 XS and a NAC 152 XS, and so enjoy all the improvements to clarity, dynamics and timing you’d expect from any Naim Audio power supply upgrade. It’s a logical, high-value and highly effective upgrade path – just as you’d expect from Naim Audio.
The FlatCap XS transformer has two separate secondary windings to isolate each of the dual supplies from the other. It includes four Naim Audio-tested and selected low-noise regulators to achieve its exceptional performance.

Shipping Rates

We calculate your shipping rate based on the total weight of your items and your delivery address. Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
