Naim Flatcap 2X Power Supply (2007)

Here we have an example of the FlatCap 2X power supply from British Hi-Fi specialists Naim Audio. The FlatCap was originally launched in 1994, as Naim were an early advocate for separating delicate pre-amplifier circuitry and the potentially “noisy” power supplies, a practice that has become more popular nowadays with other manufacturers. The unit is in good condition noting a few marks most notably one on the left side – please see photographs. It will come in original factory packaging with reprinted manual, mains cable, SNAIC cable, and our three month warranty. Naim’s entry-level power supply was designed to work with a number of Naim components so please check with us prior to purchase to confirm compatibility.

The FlatCap 2X provides exceptionally low-noise, dual power supplies for two separate components, such as a NAC 122X and a CD5X. Its transformer has two separate secondary windings to isolate each of the dual supplies from the other. It can be used with the NAC 282, NAC 202 and NAC 122X preamplifiers as well as our SNAXO electronic crossovers to provide an effective, low-cost entry into active system operation. The FlatCap 2X can also be used to power our Prefix and StageLine phono stages and the Headline headphone amplifier.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
