Remote Control Pre Amplifier
A new development based on the extremely highly regarded Nu-Vista preamp. The X-P100 uses an identical circuit to the Nu-Vista but with specially selected discrete JFETs in place of the rare Nuvistor triodes. It is well known that certain Field Effect Transistors exhibit similar characteristics to triode valves and in particular allow the very high input impedance circuitry otherwise only achievable with valves. Our aim here was to replicate as closely possible the natural and open clarity we were able to achieve with Nu-Vista but utilising a contemporary FET. The JFET we eventually selected was chosen after extensive measurement and listening tests of a very large number of possible alternatives for its very close relation to the 6CW4 Nuvistor in terms of both its sonic fingerprint and measured performance.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
