Michell Focus One Turntable

Here we have a lovely vintage Michell Focus One turntable. It was launched in the late 1970s and was Michell’s first entry level turntable. Ours comes with the original Michell Focus unipivot tonearm whose underslung counterweight was the inspiration for Michell’s modern TecnoWeight. It is in good condition with a few age related blemishes. NOTE: this unit has been built as 33rpm only. It will be supplied in original factory packaging and comes with our standard three month warranty.

With sales growing steadily, it was decided to introduce an entry-level product so that the Michell brand could reach out to a wider audience. The Focus One consisted of a simple plinth suspended on sprung feet. The improved ‘S’ version followed quickly and was fitted with an improved drive system and heavy aluminium platter.
The Focus One Turntable represents the very latest in record player engineering techniques and is designed to complement the finest high fidelity reproducing equipment. The complete unit is free standing on adjustable acoustic feedback legs.
The baseboard of the Focus One turntable is pre-cut for mounting the SME arms and adaptor plates are available for the fitting of most high quality tone-arms.

Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
