The Marantz UD7006 Networking Universal Disc Player builds upon the solid foundation provided by the UD5005 with performances advantages designed to enhance audio/video playback and ease of system integration. The 3D Ready UD7006 comes equipped to play audio and video from discs; as a digital stream from your home network; or from the internet. A quick-loading transport mechanism features a specially coated, anti-resonant disc drawer and plays nearly every type of audio and video disc ever created. Award-winning video processing is delivered courtesy of the 10-bit Anchor Bay ABT2015 chip; features include standard definition and high definition motion adaptive de-interlacing, multi-cadence de-interlacing, and a suite of 13 adjustable image parameters. A super-fast 12-bit/297 MHz video decoder is also included. The HDMI 1.4a audio/video connection standard is fully supported insuring the best possible result with today’s high performance displays while the latest 32-bit/192kHz audio decoders and custom analogue output stages deliver the depth, resolution and immediacy music lovers have long associated with the Marantz brand.
The UD7006 is DLNA 1.5 certified and features an on-board media player for streaming both audio and video content: stream MP3, WAV, Windows Media Audio and AAC digital audio files and MPG, Divx, and MPEG4/H.264 digital video files, all from your local network; or connect to the internet and enjoy the best of YouTube and Netflix. A USB connection is conveniently located on the front panel making it easy for friends to share their audio and video content through your system.
As are the other new networked Marantz components, the UD7005 is App-Controllable via your iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad ; this bi-directional, touch-screen remote control application, called the Marantz Wizz App, is available online, free of charge in the Apple App Store. A Profile-2 player, the UD7006 features a 7.1 channel analogue output and offers bass management for Super Audio CD and DVD Audio. An RS232 port insures compatibility with a whole host of third party control systems.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
