A well specified, budget conscious amplifier from Marantz. Finished in black the PM6003 is in fair condition with some wear/discolouring on Volume & Input Selection controls, along with a few blemishes - please refer to photographs. The What Hi-Fi Sound and Vision? 2009 awarded PM6003 amplifier comes in the M1 Reference Design style. But it’s not just the outward aesthetics that have been improved; Marantz took this upgrade opportunity to further improve this already excellent amp by refining the sound and optimising the balance from bass to mid to highs for a performance full of harmony. The new lower impedance Toroidal transformer shielded with case, was also matched to the new main capacitors, which again have been aligned to the new type of power transistor, mounted on a new extruded aluminium head sink, capable of handling higher currents and keeping closer control of the speaker. And of course all of the original features – such as six-line audio input including Phono, two-pairs of gold-plated speaker connection with the convenience of bi-wiring and a remote handset – are still available.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
