Here we have a Linn Radikal motor control upgrade for the Sondek LP12 transcription turntable. It is in very good condition, coming supplied in original factory packaging, along with motor unit, switch, mains cable and our standard three month warranty.

Linn Radikal is an LP12 SE motor control upgrade for the Linn Sondek LP12 transcription turntable that takes it to an entirely new level. Radikal comprises a DC motor for installation within the LP12, and a motor control unit and power supply housed externally.
Radikal uses a specially customised 13 segment precious brushed DC motor which offers a new level of rotational accuracy, with an incredibly smooth action and extremely low levels of electromagnetic interference (low enough to allow an internal phono stage).
Radikal auto-calibrates the motor speed every time it is turned on, with an on-board tachometer using optical feedback to measure platter speed. The same type of ultra low jitter clock used in the Klimax DS controls timing to ensure that your records always spin at the perfect speed.
Now featuring Linn's latest Dynamik Switch Mode Power Supply, Radikal provides clean, constant power whatever the load conditions, and is superbly isolated from the audio signal path, ensuring that the low level cartridge signal is protected from any potential interference.
A flick of the LP12 switch toggles 331/3 / 45 rpm and can also be used to apply a soft mute of -25 dB when cueing a record for play.
Radikal also powers the Linn Urika internal moving coil phono stage, using independent circuitry to ensure no inter-stage modulation effects.
Available in a recently updated silver or black Linn chassis, or in a machined-from-solid aluminium case to match your Klimax system.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
