The Akurate range consists of four distinct acoustically matched loudspeakers that can be simply configured for high performance stereo and multi-channel music or home theatre applications.
The Akurate range has been designed to do full justice to the highest definition sound and vision formats, such as Studio Master downloads and Super Audio CD.
The full-range models, the 242, 225 and 212 loudspeakers, feature Linn’s 3K Driver Array technology that creates a consistent single point sound source and improves high frequency response. All components used in the 3K Driver Array are tolerance matched to ensure sonic consistency throughout. Sandwich cone 6 1/2inch bass drive units deliver pure musical bass, and the highly braced internal cabinet construction ensures the best possible performance from the advanced drive unit design.
The AKURATE 242 is a five-way, bass reflex, floorstanding loudspeaker, precision engineered for use in medium to large sized listening areas. The speaker incorporates dual 6 1/2” (16.5 cm) drivers mounted vertically for controlled, tuneful and extended bass performance.
High grade real wood veneers are used through and are available in standard (American Cherry, Black Ash, Maple, Rosenut) or special high gloss finishes. Bespoke finishes can also be crafted to perfectly complement any living space.

Shipping Rates

We calculate your shipping rate based on the total weight of your items and your delivery address. Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Don't worry, you'll always see the final shipping charge displayed before you reach the payment step (on the checkout page).

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
