German company Lehmannaudio Vertriebs GmbH was founded in 1988 by Norbert Lehmann, in Cologne. This example of their well-regarded Rhinelander headphone amplifier is a great little specialist item which is a significant step up from the standard headphone socket on most stereo hi-fi amplifiers. The sonic kinship with the Linear reference device is due to the specially selected, high-grade components and sophisticated circuit design. Such an elaborate construction is unique in a headphone amplifier of this price range. Low-loss MKP capacitors for the audio path, a double-sided pc board for an optimum layout as well as low ESR capacitors in the power supply could be mentioned as examples of the audiophile components. By the way, the Rhinelander also knows how to delight as a high-class single-source preamplifier. The single-source preamp mode is active as default setting.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
