Kudos X2 Floorstanding Speakers - Oak

A really nice pair of the X2 Loudspeakers from relatively new British brand Kudos. Founded in 1991 and based in County Durham they have quickly risen to being a very well respected brand especially with Linn and Naim owners alike because of the upgrade possibilities available with these two highly regarded brands. Our examples are in good working condition, with a couple of minor blemishes and come suitably packaged with manual, grilles, spikes plus our regular three month warranty. Note that the white marks showing on the drivers are camera flash.

If you’re considering the X2 as your first entry into the wonderful world of high-end loudspeakers: welcome. At just shy of 80cm tall, the X2 is the ‘baby’ of the Kudos range. But rest assured there’s nothing small about the performance of this dynamic and confident loudspeaker. Kudos’ unique drivers are custom designed in collaboration with leading Norwegian experts, SEAS. In the X2, they’re specifically crafted for this loudspeaker’s more compact size. The drivers are carefully matched and precisely aligned to work seamlessly as one, making the X2 an impressively musical compact loudspeaker.
The X series’ compact, modern design blends effortlessly into the contemporary home. Beneath the sleek exterior is a smart marriage of form and function: everything in the X2’s bodywork is specifically selected for its acoustic properties and carefully fine-tuned to control unwanted vibrations without disturbing the natural dynamics of your music.

The X series’ superb quality components, including Mundorf inductors and resistors, and Clarity Cap capacitors, are tailored specifically for Kudos to stringent tolerances.
Since bass plays such a powerful role in how we hear music, our X series pays particular attention to delivering superior sound at the all-important lower end. The X2’s fixed boundary bass reflex loading is key to a more agile, nuanced, textured and detailed bass reproduction.

Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
