Here we have a pair of vintage Heybrook HB2 Loudspeakers. These classically styled speakers that date from the late nineteen seventies, became hugely popular and were found in many “starter hi-fi systems”. Our examples unfortunately are not the best cosmetically, noting a quite a few marks and blemishes, and no grills but they are in fully working condition. They will be suitably packaged along with our usual warranty.
Heybrook was the brand name of the Mecom Acoustics company. Formed by Stuart Mee and Peter Comeau in order to build a small speaker that was felt missing from the market at the time. The HB2 was actually the first product from the company and featured a rear port, Audax drivers and a well built cabinet made from 15 mm thick chipboard. Initially they sold for around £130 per pair, although that price rose fairly quickly when the realisation came that the production costs meant there was little to no profit.

Carriers
We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service. Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
