Chord Sarum T Super ARAY Interconnect Cable 4-Pin DIN - XLR 1.0m Pair

Here we have a high end Sarum T SuperARAY interconnect cable from British specialist, The Chord Company. It comes in a one metre length terminated with 4-Pin DIN plugs at one end and male XLR’s at the other. It is in very good condition, with just a small mark, full working order, and is supplied in its original factory packaging.

Chord Company Sarum T DIN cables are available in multiple configurations to suit Naim/Quad and other DIN-fitted equipment from all eras as well as custom options allowing users to pair early models with the very latest products. Connections include 4pin, 5pin, 8pin DIN-DIN in all the many variants as well as RCA-DIN, DIN-RCA, DIN-XLR, XLR-DIN and 240 degree Snake (SNAIC) configurations.
PTFE has long been our go-to insulation material. Like most things in life, nothing is ever simple. Although a fantastic insulator it does have one weakness: at room temperature it is not phase-stable. This causes issues with the ultimate musical accuracy of the cable. SarumT replaces PTFE with Taylon® and virtually eliminates this phase issue.
When first testing this material, we were doubtful of the magnitude of any audible difference, particularly when considering the enormous jump in cost over PTFE. However, after the first 30 seconds of listening, we were convinced!
At this level, Sarum T cables are usually found in high-end Naim equipment. Systems that have what Naim staff refer to as ‘PRAT’ (pace, rhythm and timing) and carry the very soul of a recording.
Sarum T with Taylon® preserves this musicality as it passes from one component to the next. Taylon® is still one of the biggest cable differences that we have heard during our 30-plus years of improving cables.
The Sarum T DIN range is a stripped down version of the ChordMusic DIN range. Same conductors and insulation, same SuperARAY technology, but fewer layers of shielding. Auditioning this cable is a must in our opinion.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
