The quintessential QuteHD is an ultimate performance, USB asynchronous DAC with 192 kHz 24-bit, high resolution performance from your PC.
Based on Chord Electronics’ Robert Watts’, world class reference QDB pulse array technology, the digital design of the QuteHD from USB input to the audio outputs, is designed using state of the art Field Programmable Gate Array devices (FPGAs) with 0.5 million gates. The FPGA handles the switching of SPDIF inputs, all digital SPDIF decoding, digital PLL, RAM buffer controller, WTA filtering and the fifth generation Pulse Array DAC. All of these functional blocks are designed at the gate level, for maximum performance.
The HD USB input uses its own separate FPGA and features asynchronous USB technology isolating the digital clocks from the computer.
Each sample rate clock is generated discretely using highly accurate crystal oscillators for optimum performance and ultra-low jitter performance.
Propriety USB driver software is provided, removing the restrictions of current operating system audio playback. It also gives very easy setup and sample rate selection from 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz, 192 kHz to 384 kHz, allowing for native high resolution or upsampling of standard definition music.
The Chordette QuteHD again redefines the future of digital music playback and may be combined with a Toucan headphone amplifier to provide a preeminent personal computer listening experience.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
