Castle Howard S2 Floorstanding Speakers - Dark Oak

Here we have a nice pair of floorstanding loudspeakers from former British company Castle Acoustics. Our examples of the Howard S2 are in good fully working condition with a couple of blemishes and some discolouration to the front of the units – please see photographs. They are supplied suitably packaged along with grilles and our usual three month warranty.

The Howard S2 is the largest member of the Castle Quarter Wave family. The narrow fronted cabinet coupled with a 25 mm metal dome tweeter guarantees stable stereo imagery with excellent presentation of depth and separation.
The two 165 mm plasticised paper pulp drivers were developed especially for the Howard. They have massive high energy magnets, stiffer than usual suspensions and are built into substantial die-cast chassis. These drive units excite the tapered and folded Quarter Wave pipe inside the rigid cabinet. Exceptionally clean, extended bass with low distortion, high energy mid and sweet treble are the hallmarks of the Howard S2.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
