AVI S2000MP Pre Amplifier

Based on all-discrete, class A circuitry fed from a separately screened power supply, the S2000MP (with phono stage) has an exceptionally low output impedance (0.2ohms) making its performance essentially independent of load.
Gain control is via a motor-driven potentiometer and all switching is performed by reed relays. Intensive listening tests have shown, quite conclusively, that even the best active gain and switching devices introduce quite audible artefacts so you won’t find any of those in an AVI design.
All the critical electrical components were chosen after stringent listening tests and the company ensures that each and every unit measure up to its extremely high standard.
Gramophone magazine awarded the S2000MP “Audio Classic” status and said:

The S2000MP remote-controlled preamplifier forms the heart of the “Top of The range” AVI system S2000 and includes the option of a discrete phono stage in addition to five remotely selectable line-level inputs.
Both models have full ‘recording’ in/out facilities.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
