Audio Alchemy Digital Decoding Engine v1.1

In order to compensate for phase inversions made during the recording process, the DDE v1.0 is, equipped with a digital domain phase inversion control. This control should be used during replay of source material to determine its correct position. The correct phase position will usually result in increased bass response and a better sense of air and space in the recording.
The DDE v1.0 is equipped with a 4 pin DIN connector, located near the centre of the rear panel, labelled “I2S Bus Output” (Inter-IC Sound). The purpose of this connector is to provide a means to interface the DDE v1.0 to other digital audio devices which are compatible with this industry standard format. The entire Audio Alchemy product line is designed to support this standard.
This port will allow the user to interface the DDE v1.0 with a variety of digital domain devices including more advanced technology D/A converters and digital domain signal processors. The DDE will be used as the digital “engine” to provide switching, data demodulation, and phase inversion control for the devices which it drives. In this manner the user is assured a continuous path to new technology, as it becomes available, without the need to purchase redundant hardware.
When the DDE v1.0 is operated in a stand-alone mode, the I2S Bus switch should be left in the “Off” position. This will insure that maximum performance of the intern.al D/A converter and analogue stage.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
