Arcam Alpha 9 Integrated Amplifier

Here we have a classic late nineties integrated amplifier from British specialists Arcam. The well regarded Alpha 9 was originally launched in 1996 and our unit comes in good fully working condition, with optional MM/MC phono board, with a few small cosmetic marks – please see photographs. It will be suitably packaged and comes with a remote control unit. manual, mains cable plus our standard 3 month warranty.

The Arcam Alpha 9 integrated amplifier, is derived from the highly successful Arcam Delta 290 model. It is rated at 70 watts per channel into 8 ohms. The Alpha 9 is extremely versatile and suitable for both conventional and Audio Visual (home cinema) based systems.
It can be used as an integrated amplifier or as a preamplifier to drive external power amplifiers. The preamp out sockets also allow the addition of an Alpha 9P power amplifier to give a true bi-amplified system. In this configuration the power amplifiers within the Alpha 9 integrated amplifier are retained to drive the loudspeakers’ treble units whilst using the Alpha 9P to drive their bass/midrange units.
In addition to this the Alpha 9 integrated amplifier can also be used as a standalone power amplifier via its “power amp in” sockets or combined with suitable loudspeakers and an AV processor, such as the Arcam Xeta 2, to form a very high performance home cinema system.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
