Here we have a piece of audio history in the form of a Sony TA-5650 Integrated Amplifier which dates back to the mid to late 70’s. It has to be said that our example of the TA-5650 is in poor cosmetic condition but underneath all that, it still works well. It will be well packaged for safe delivery.

Amplifiers bearing the V-FET symbol are utilising vertical field effect transistors developed by Sony engineers to handle high currents found in their output stages. The first of a new generation of V-FET amplifiers, the TA-5650 has characteristics closer to those of the thermionic valve, than the Bi-polar transistor previously used in solid state amplifiers providing a smoothness of sound that will satisfy even the most critical of Hi-Fi enthusiasts.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
