Rega Elex-R Integrated Amplifier

Rega started out in the 1970’s and built their early reputation on award winning turntables and tonearms. In the eighties it began making complete hi-fi systems - amplifiers, CD players, speakers etc, and here we have one of their most successful models the Elex-R Integrated Amplifier. Over the years since its launch, it has won universal praise, and even won a What Hi-Fi award 5 years in a row. Our example is in good condition noting a couple of very minor blemishes, and is supplied with its original factory packaging. It also comes with a remote control unit, manual, mains cable, and our standard three month warranty.

The Elex-R is a sublime blend of the Brio design with the power circuits and advanced phono stage of the Elicit-R. Rega’s engineers have achieved the perfect balance of power, control, and dynamics, delivering a performance that always puts the music first. You will find plenty of connectivity options allowing complete flexibility and integration within the rest of the Rega range.
The Elex-R is built to the highest standard and designed to deliver the best possible audio performance whilst remaining simple to use and easy to setup. The Elex-R is built into the full width Rega case with increased heat dissipation, which along with a larger transformer enables the Elex-R to deliver 90 W per channel into 6 Ω and 72.5 W per channel into 8 Ω. Our time, effort & money have been spent on developing the circuit and construction utilising the highest specification of components throughout. As part of the design, we have included useful features like pre-amplifier output, to enable the new Elex-R amplifier to be used in a wide combination of systems and have avoided superfluous gadgets such as tone controls or a headphone socket as they can obstruct the signal path and degrade the produced sound quality.

Shipping Rates

We calculate your shipping rate based on the total weight of your items and your delivery address. Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Don't worry, you'll always see the final shipping charge displayed before you reach the payment step (on the checkout page).

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
