If the HDX is the pinnacle of our digital knowledge, the UnitiServe represents the distilled essence of our experience. It delivers the fundamentals of the HDX’s high-end music server technology in a compact, half-width enclosure. Like the HDX it offers bit-perfect ripping, the ability to serve music to a wide range of compatible devices, control via the n-Serve iOS app and, of course, all the performance for which our network-connected products are widely famed.
If you already own a large digitally stored music collection or plan to rip more than the 2,400-CD capacity of a regular UnitiServe, consider the UnitiServe-SSD version. It offers all the functionality of the UnitiServe but substitutes its standard 2TB internal hard disk for a 16GB solid-state drive, sufficient to ensure smooth and fast browsing of your content. Your music collection can then reside on an external network-attached- storage device, or NAS, allowing access to as much storage as your budget or needs could ever reasonably require.
The UnitiServe extracts data from CDs using unique, in-house developed techniques and algorithms to ensure that the ripped data represents a faultless replica of the CD. The data is then stored on a 2TB internal hard disk with space for up to 2400 CDs, or on an external Network Attached Storage (NAS) with potential for space that can easily out pace your music collection. UnitiServe also stores the metadata (artwork, track titles, artists, performers, composers) for all ripped CDs, regardless of their storage location, automatically downloaded from allmusic.com. The Naim Audio Extended Music Database format means that music can be found easily by searching for any stored parameter. You’ll never lose track of a CD again.
But there’s far more to UnitiServe performance than bit-perfect CD ripping and storage. Its external power supply is designed to minimise mains injected noise and it incorporates a decoupled hard-disk assembly that both minimises noise and any possibility of disturbance from external vibration. Digital signal management within the UnitiServe is based on techniques developed for the Naim Audio HDX and the digital outputs on the CD5 XS and CDX2 CD players. UnitiServe is a true Naim Audio product that deploys highly innovative and advanced technology simply to serve the music.

Shipping Rates

We calculate your shipping rate based on the total weight of your items and your delivery address. Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Don't worry, you'll always see the final shipping charge displayed before you reach the payment step (on the checkout page).

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
