Naim CD5x CD Player

Here we have an example of the CD5X which was one of Naims finest players offering good sound with an upgrade option but without breaking the bank. Unfortunately this one is faulty and is therefore being sold as seen for spares or repair only - no returns please. For the technical among you, the fault can be worked round - the unit reads disks so mechanism is functional, but the only way to get outputs to work is to boot it into programming mode and save the output selection each time unit is switched on.

The CD5X CD player is designed to be the best in its class. It has a large new dedicated toroidal transformer and can be up graded by the addition of a FlatCap 2, FlatCap 2X or HiCap power supply. The external supply works with the internal power supply of the CD5x to offer both a greater number of separate supplies and more sophisticated voltage regulation.
It includes RCA phono sockets alongside the traditionally used DIN sockets, and combines fabulous music making ability with excellent build quality.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
