Monitor Audio Gold Signature GS10 Standmount Speakers - Rosewood

Here we have a pair of the Gold Signature 10 standmount loudspeakers from British manufacturer Monitor Audio. The company have always been known for the quality and finish of their speakers and the GS10 is no exception, here finished in Rosewood. They are in very good condition, will come in original factory packaging along with grilles and our usual three month warranty.

The GS10 re-writes the book on compact monitor performance, easily eclipsing the dazzling standard set by its predecessor, the GR10.
It may be small, but the GS10 showcases the multiple talents that make the Gold Signature series so remarkable. With its advanced, low-resonance drivers, rigid build and contoured cabinet edges, the GS10 redefines accurate, low-colouration sound in a compact, stylish stand-mount speaker.
Using the new, low distortion 6½” RST II bass-mid driver and gold C-CAM tweeter developed especially for the GS series, the GS10 is capable of true 3-D imaging and tonal accuracy.
The new Gold Signature series has been designed with improvements in every area, building on the strength and ethos of the original award winning Gold Reference. Although there are some visual similarities, major improvements have been made in the construction and quality of materials used with a ‘no expense spared’ approach.
All metal parts are made from die-cast alloys and in the case of the driver chassis and chassis clamp system, a combination of cast aluminium and Zinc are used alternately to provide a structure that has different resonance properties, thus providing a high degree of resonance cancellation and damping. The cabinet is more rigid with traditional tongue and groove construction and better internal bracing.
The new RST®2 cone profile has been refined to provide better control of break up. A new C-CAM® gold dome tweeter has been developed to propel high frequency performance to beyond 40KHz. Extensive development has also resulted in another unique feature; the HiVe2 port design. This new port technology uses a straight rifled construction to aid air flow and reduce turbulence.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
