Exposure XVII Pre Amplifier

The Exposure XVII and XVIII are the latest additions to the range. They have been designed to afford the best possible performance / value and feature the same circuit to topology as can be found in our top of the range combination.
Exposure construction techniques, which have evolved over the last 15 years ensure optimum performance linked with long-term proven reliability.
The Exposure XVII preamplifier is the first in our range to have an inbuilt power supply. This has been accomplished without any degradation to performance and follows on from the extensive research and development carried out for our highly acclaimed integrated amplifiers. The quality of the main transformer plays an important part in determining the final sound quality of a pre-amplifier, because of this we have designed our own, incorporating many unique construction techniques which improve the overall performance over that which had had been available previously. These are manufactured under license only for us and represent a major step forward in sound quality.
Before the supply reaches any audio components it is first rectified, then smoothed using our own custom designed capacitors, and then finally regulated. This this close attention to the accuracy of the power supply ensures that whatever the demands made upon it, it will remain constant and free from ripple resulting in unparallel performance.
The XVII has six inputs one of which is for turntable and two main outputs, one utilising the conventional phono type sockets and one using high-quality XLR sockets. The XLR outputs are unbalanced but should be used in preference as they offer improved results over the phono type. The second main output can be used to drive a second power amplifier or, via the use of an adaptor, for headphones. It also has two tape outputs enabling you to copy between tape decks in either direction. All input and output sockets are gold plated.

Standard shipping to the UK Mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands) is free, except where specifically indicated. Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
