B&W 803D Floorstanding Speakers - Cherry

A nice pair of floorstanding loudspeakers from British company Bowers & Wilkins. The 803D's come in good fully working condition with some very minor age related blemishes. They will come in original factory packaging with grilles, spikes, and of course you’ll also get our normal 3 month warranty.

A new model for the 800 Series, the 803D brings diamond dome technology to a less technical looking piece of furniture than the larger ‘headed’ models.
Here the FST™ midrange driver is housed in its own isolated section of the beautifully curved, Matrix™-braced main cabinet, which is kept as narrow as possible in order to optimize the dispersion of sound.
In order to have a similar bass output capability to the wider 802D, the 803D uses three 7” Rohacell® cone bass drivers, this time supplemented by a front firing Flowport™. Like all of our dedicated bass-only drivers, the basic rigidity of the radiating area is enhanced by our novel ‘mushroom’ construction, a girder-like component that supports the central area of the dust cap.
Although we talk about the three different drive unit types, it is the way these speakers behave as a single whole entity that impresses. It doesn’t matter if the programme is music or film, the naturalness and realism portrayed by these speakers is uncanny.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
