The four Densen CD-players are critically acclaimed musical performers with a large, devoted following. They all share the Densen characteristics of extreme musicality, military precision in mounting and soldering, easy upgradeability, and good looks.
The players are based on extruded aluminium casings that minimize vibration and magnetic distortion, on non-feedback Class amplification stages, on the custom-made transport, on advanced and jitter-free clock circuitry, and custom-made CD transports optimized for perfect data transfer.
The name Super Leggera is an Italian term used to describe the lightweight chassis of some exotic sports cars from the golden age of Italian sports cars. Now a term, first used by Densen in the B-275, in the division of the heavy power supply in its separate cabinet, and a cabinet for the light electronics. The electronics can be made really light, resulting in less interference from vibrations and noise from the heavy power supply.
The B-475 consist of the B-475 CD player complete with the 2NRG power supply. Together they become the Densen B-475.The results when used in the B-275 pre amp speaks for itself. Now it is used in the B-475 to take CD playback to new heights. The fluid detailed sound, combined with dynamics and force. The grunt and power combined with delicacy and transparency, all adds up to make the B-475 a must hear CD player.
Feature wise the B-475 has all the features associated with a Densen CD Player, including the new CD mechanism with its perfect digital transfer, the digital input which allows the B-475 to be used as a DAC for other digital sources like computers and streamers. The B-475 is made with separate power supplies for basically everything in the player, including separate power supplies for both left and right analogue stage, making it a true dual-mono CD player.
The Densen NRG upgrades are external power supplies designed to significantly upgrade and improve the performance of Densen products. It is an effective way of improving the sound, without having to sell your current Densen model. A discrete and elegant cure for the ever continuing lust for even better sound from your Densen system.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
