The DAC202 is also equipped with S/PDIF and AES/EBU inputs, so it can just as easily be used with CD players or any other units with digital audio outputs.
In addition to the DAC202’s power amp outputs, it also has a built-in, high-quality headphone amplifier. Control the output levels of the DAC202 with perfect precision in the digital domain. The headphone and power amp outputs have separate level controls. A modern, state-of-the-art D/A converter chip is employed. Two converters per audio channel are used to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio.
An internal high precision/low jitter clock generator is responsible for clocking the audio section. The sampling frequency is switched automatically according to the sampling frequency of the track played. In addition, there are word-clock inputs and outputs on BNC connectors for external synchronization purposes. All standard sampling frequencies up to 192 kHz are supported.

USB / DSD Option: The DAC202 can be upgraded with a USB input which can also do DSD decoding for DSD file playback.

Digital Inputs: 1 x XLR connector, 1 x RCA connector, 1 x TOSlink connector (optical), 2 x Firewire connectors. All inputs accept professional or consumer standard, i.e. AES/EBU or S/PDIF signals.
Supported sampling frequencies are 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz or 192 kHz on any of the inputs, except TOSlink which handles 96 kHz maximum. The dual wire mode can be activated for sampling rates of 176.4 kHz or 192 kHz exclusively. Maximum input word length is 24-bit.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
