The September 1989 launch of the new B1 integrated amplifier from Musical Fidelity signals the start of a new era for a company which is known world-wide for its high-end audio products.
The B1 continues the company’s tradition of giving audio consumers a lot for their money. However, the B1 is a world class product with wide consumer appeal. Its modest retail price, excellent build and notable sonic qualities should catapult the B1 into the world scene as a strong contender for integrated amplifier sales.
Sound quality was a primary consideration in the quasi complementary circuit design developed by Tim de Paravicini and Antony Michaelson, Managing Director of Musical Fidelity.
To test his perception that the B1 offers exceptional sound quality in its price category, Antony Michaelson asked several leading UK hi-fi reviewers to audition it. They praised its performance and were astonished at the price. The consensus is that the B1 bears comparison with integrated’s and separates at several times its price.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
