Ruark Talisman Floorstanding Speakers – Antique Oak

Here we have a pair of vintage loudspeakers from British company Ruark. They are examples of the Talisman, a compact floorstanding model of decidedly pretty and somewhat unusual appearance. The cabinet is fabricated from MDF and the design also means the Talisman responds well to being placed back against the wall. Our units are in fully working condition noting a few blemishes – please refer to product photographs. They will be carefully packaged coming with our usual three month warranty.

Employing (at the time) a unique sloped baffle and cabinet construction, with an exquisite finish, many Hi-Fi enthusiasts will say that this is the model that defined Ruark. Its versatile nature made it a speaker that worked well with many different amplifiers and a remarkably large and sweet sound was produced from its compact stature.
