Naim NAP 135 Monoblock Power Amplifiers (1995)

A nice pair of classic “Olive” finish NAP 135 monoblock power amplifiers from British specialist NAIM Audio. Originally launched way back in 1984 with the chrome bumper finish, this was changed in 1989 to the “Olive” we have here, but even today this is still a very highly regarded amplifier especially by Naim aficionados. They are in good condition, and were serviced by NAIM in 2007 and May 2018. They come with replacement Naim packaging, manual, mains cable SNAIC cable, and our standard three month warranty.

Given the seemingly simple job of driving a loudspeaker, in reality the power amplifier presents the audio designer with a deceptively challenging task. Solutions are numerous and varied, with wild claims and figures often being quoted for control and power output. Actually these offer a very poor idea of how music will be handled and how much true, useable power is in fact available. Naim amplifiers are designed to drive real loudspeaker loads and can easily deal with any impedance from 0 ohms to infinity without damage or signs of instability.
The 135 is a fan cooled mono power amplifier developed directly from the 250. It employs the same carefully chosen components as the 250 but with an increased power output and the ability to swing a massive 500VA on transients. The temperature controlled fan is mounted on a large internal heatsink to maximise heat transfer. Overall control of the music. preservation of detail and ambient information. Plus its great reserves of power ensure that the 135 remains unsurpassed.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
