The low frequency reproduction is intense thanks to its 3 woofers which, combined with the mid-high frequencies, guarantee a detailed, warm and enchanting sound. Our projects and our designs are the result of an evolution matured over time, which feeds on the lessons derived from our experience in the High-End audio sector. In a constant pursuit of advancement, we chose to reinvent the collection that has always embodied the company’s stylistic manifesto, and which has contributed to building the identity and perception of the brand internationally. This is how the second edition of the line was born: Olympica Nova, a true tribute to its predecessor and to our artisanal craftsmanship that adds a new chapter to the ‘Made in Italy’ Sonus faber history. Olympica Nova is where experience meets elegance. It is the distillation of our identity: Olympica Nova is Sonus faber. Olympica Nova embraces all of the authentic and timeless values that inspired Sonus faber in creating the original Olympica line. Our R&D department selected the fundamental aesthetic and functional elements and revolutionized them, incorporating new technological advancements. The result is a new collection that merges tradition and innovation, featuring advanced solutions that already enhance our prestigious creations. The goal remains the same: natural acoustic reproduction with no compromise. We treasured the 6 years since the release of the Olympica collection. We maintained the elements which made it unique and recognizable worldwide and we merged them with inspirations from the Homage Tradition collection.
Thanks to this process of selection and evolution, Olympica Nova has truly manifested the essence of our brand, the perfect musical instrument for living the Sonus faber Italian sound.
The entire structure of the acoustic enclosure has been redesigned: similar to the Homage Tradition and Reference collections, the walls are made with eight layers of bended wood, providing the cabinet with extreme rigidity. Inside the cabinet, carefully placed structural ribs are used as reinforcement to reduce vibration and to handle the overall power of the transducer’s movement.
Just like the cabinet sides, the front baffle is made in hand-finished natural wood. Our designers wished to pay homage to the most representative material of Sonus faber, making it even more of a standard-bearer. All the models of the Olympica Nova collection are equipped with the classic elastic string grilles, iconic design element and a tribute to stringed musical instruments.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
