The Cyrus 8 XPd Qx is powered by a 330VA transformer, providing a huge 70 watts per channel. Its on-board upsampling 24-bit/192 kHz DAC provides audiophile performance, bringing the best out of all digital sources. The amplification stage of the Cyrus 8 XPd Qx uses the same technology as the Cyrus 8 XP. Along with this is our Qx DAC module which uses an advanced digital to analogue converter, its own regulated power supply and carefully engineered circuitry to ensure the output is high in detail and accuracy. This advanced DAC up-samples all digital sources to 192 kHz resolution and provides a multitude of sonic benefits including improved timing, smoother treble definition, wider sound staging and more tuneful bass. Together, these elements form a powerful and dynamic integrated amplifier which can fill two rooms of your home with stunning resolution and Cyrus’s award winning tuning. To get the best performance from this amplifier, plug in a PSX-R external power supply. This will separate the functions being performed by the unit to ensure the crucial audio signal remains unaffected by the other processes being performed.

Carriers

We despatch the bulk of our UK mainland items on a 24 hour service.  Non-Mainland locations – Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Scottish highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may take a day or so longer. Smaller items are delivered using Royal Mail 24 or special delivery. Larger items are delivered using a courier service such as UPS and occasionally by a Pallet service.
